Minnessak — Swedish for keepsake — was launched in London in 2023 by two visionaries, Peter Keep and designer Jas Sehmbi.
Their shared vision is to repurpose existing materials, transforming them into highly-desirable, stylish yet functional, long-lasting bags.
With over 40 years in fashion, Jas has long believed style and sustainability should go hand in hand. An earlier brand of his sold worldwide and gained a cult following for its craft-led, design-forward approach. Minnessak takes that philosophy further, fusing classic design sensibilities with a modern sustainable edge.

Every bag in the core range begins with an iconic Alpha Industries flight jacket that starts to then be reimagined as the raw material for something excitingly new.
Dead-stock leathers, vintage Japanese Obi silks, waxed cottons from Scotland, and other reclaimed fabrics are woven in, making each piece unique, each detail intentional. With this alchemy, discarded garments once headed for landfill are reborn as modern accessories made to be treasured.
